So we beat on...
"He had come a long way to this blue lawn, and his dream must have seemed so close that he could hardly fail to grasp it. He did not know that it was already behind him, somewhere back in that vast obscurity beyond the city, where the dark fields of the republic rolled on under the night. He believed in the green light, the orgastic future that year by year recedes before us. It eluded us then, but that's no matter--tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms farther...And one fine morning---So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past." --F. Scott Fitzgerald

New Book Series...I LOVE IT!!
There is a new series of books I just started reading because I heard it was really good and going to be made into a movie soon...It is called The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins.
This series consists of 3 books and so far I have read books 1 and 2. I am about to start the third one soon! I read book one in 2 days because I couldn't put it down.
This series is science fiction genre, and it is set in the future. The setting is the ruins of North America in a new country called Panem. The country is divided into districts and each year every district must draw names of one boy and one girl to participate in the Capital's Hunger Games. The Hunger Games is an event thrown yearly by the Capital to remind the districts not to fight or rebel ever again. These gruesome games ultimately show the Capital's total power and control over the country of Panem.
I encourage everyone to read this series by Suzanne Collins! It is brutal, but interesting and definitely a page turner! I'll update everyone after I finish the third and final book of the series!
The movie comes out in March of 2012!

My Wedding! 11.11.11
Wedding Photo Album
My Wedding was on 11.11.11. Last Friday I got married at Crossbridge Church of Christ. I had anticipated this day for a long time and it was everything I imagined and more. Thanks so much to all of my friends and family who made it extra special for me and Johnson! Thanks especially to my Mom for all of the hard work and things she did to make it perfect! I am loving married life so far! I posted a link above to my wedding album online if you would like to see some pictures from the ceremony and reception.
Johnson and I had dated for 2 years and were so happy to finally be married! I am thrilled to get ready for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holdiays with my new husband!
